Specializing in Greek, halal, and vegan-friendly dishes, this eatery delivers a mouthwatering experience for those craving fresh, flavorful, and health-conscious fare. From traditional gyros to nutritious breakfast wraps, Apola Greek Grill expertly fuses classic recipes with a modern, health-focused twist.
Step inside, and you’ll notice a clean, welcoming atmosphere where friendly, attentive staff create an inviting dining environment. Whether you’re stopping by early for breakfast or enjoying their weekend specials, there’s a genuine warmth in the air that complements the lively, fresh aromas wafting from the grill.
Dive into their all-day breakfast wraps, where the Greek Breakfast Wrap stands out: three fluffy scrambled eggs paired with your choice of protein, creamy feta cheese, juicy Roma tomatoes, sharp red onions, crispy hash browns, all finished with a tangy tzatziki sauce that brightens every bite. If you’re looking for heartier options, the Basic Wrap With Meat is a savory, satisfying start to your day, rich with melted cheese, salsa, and freshly scrambled eggs enveloped in a warm wrap.
When hunger strikes later in the day, the gyros steal the show. Apola’s sandwiches burst with authentic flavors—the perfectly seasoned beef and lamb or tender chicken grilled daily and wrapped in warm pita bread accompanied by French fries, as grilled to crisp perfection and included right inside the pita as tradition dictates. Reviewers can’t get enough of these gyros, praising their juicy, tender meats and bold seasoning that transport your taste buds straight to the Mediterranean.
Even if you opt for a plate instead of the classic gyro, expect generous portions that are both satisfying and wallet-friendly—a common thread among the many enthusiastic local diners. Weekend visitors rave about the specialty fries, especially the Fire Fries filled with layers of spices and sauces that offer a delightful kick.
To complement your meal, Apola offers a selection of drinks ranging from Greek bottled sodas bursting with unique, refreshing flavors to freshly brewed coffee perfect for rounding out your meal. Don’t miss out on their creamy, rich cheesecake for dessert—a sweet end that perfectly balances the savory feast.
Though a few customers have noted occasional wait times during busier hours and a momentarily dry chicken gyro filling, these are minor quibbles against a backdrop of generally excellent food, warm service, and a clean, family-friendly environment. Whether you’re joining a big group (parking is convenient, and plentiful) or enjoying a quiet solo meal, Apola Greek Grill earns its reputation as an Irvine hotspot delivering big Mediterranean flavors made with care.
For an authentic Greek dining experience that prioritizes quality, flavor, and customer satisfaction, Apola Greek Grill invites you to indulge in every bite and savor a taste of the Mediterranean right in Orange County.
Food was almost perfect. We ate here 11am and we got very dry chiken inside our pita gyros. Except that, food was delicious. We were only customers and it took over 10min to get food…
We went for the grand opening. Place was packed but well organized. I had a party of 8. Kids loved the food. We ordered the a couple of plates and gyros. So we got to try a little of everything. The gyro was very good and tasty. The plates were very good as well but I prefer the gyro. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Will come back for sure. Parking is free and there is also a parking structure.
Great customer service. Fries very airy and delicious. Ordered the beef and lamb gyro pita, very flavorful. Also, ordered a cheesecake very creamy and delicious. Clean atmosphere. Will return again to try the Bowls.
Finally a place that serves authentic greek gyros with French fries and everything. Great food at a great price. Definitely coming back
Greek Style Chipotle! This place caught me by surprise, and we really did not have the intention of going here but came as a "last minute" plan type meal. Thankfully, I did stumble upon this place, and the food is great. You get quite a lot of food for the price you pay and also some good quality food! You can see the meat being cooked daily! Highly recommend the beef and lamb or the chicken! They also have some other options, like the Fire Fries, and I would highly recommend those or the Feta Fries because they have some good flavors and sauces that compliment their Greek seasonings and sauces! The garlic sauce and tzatziki sauce are phenomenal with their Greek salad and Lamb! I ended up having the works wrap too, and added some spicy hummus and jalapenos! Added some great heat and solid spice flavor to the chicken! It's a great quick option for lunch or dinner! We even ordered this place for the Superbowl because we were craving it and the garlic sauce!
